Developer of Shiba Inus Shytoshi Kusama Offers Bold Strategy for US Blockchain Hub to Strengthen Economy

Shytoshi Kusama, the chief developer of Shiba Inus, has drafted a proposal for the incoming US president. The plan calls for taking calculated actions to establish the US as the global blockchain center. This project, which has been compared to a “Silicon Valley for blockchain,” would turn the US into a global hub for blockchain technology, drawing in top-tier investments and talented individuals from all over the world.

Due to users’ preference for candidates who prioritize the interests of the industry, the cryptocurrency sector has played a significant role in the US election. Kusama, however, has instead drafted the proposal for the successful candidate.

He said that the project would take advantage of blockchain’s revolutionary potential to establish the nation as a pioneer in sustainable development and blockchain technology, as well as to stimulate the economy, generate employment, and enhance security.

Additionally, Kusama’s plan calls for the development of both digital and physical infrastructure. Building a state-of-the-art research lab, implementing green building services, and enhancing public transportation connections are all examples of the physical infrastructure.

Establishing safe and effective data centers, fast internet networks, and blockchain networks like Shibarium are all part of the digital infrastructure. Similar systems will be installed across the city. Infrastructure development is expected to cost between $700 million and $1.2 billion.

Additionally, the plan offers incentives that can support company expansion. Reduced corporate tax rates and funding for blockchain research institutes, startups, and small enterprises were among Kusama’s recommendations. More partnerships between the public and commercial sectors were also recommended by the developer. The economic incentive’s estimated cost ranges from $300 million to $600 million.

Developing Skill and Providing Regulatory Clarity

According to the Shiba Inu developer, local and online universities should collaborate to build a unique degree program that emphasizes blockchain technology. In order to prepare workers for blockchain employment, it was also suggested that K–12 STEM education and other developmental programs be funded. The talent development program will cost between $100 million and $200 million, Kusama said.

One of the main problems the business has been facing is regulatory clarity, which was also mentioned in the plan. Kusama demanded lucid and encouraging regulations. Additionally, it was proposed that businesses test their new technology in a regulatory sandbox.

With anticipated expenses of between $150 million and $250 million and $50 million and $100 million, respectively, other important topics are also covered, including marketing and sustainable practices.

Results in Phases and Long-Term Economic Impact Vision

According to Kusama, the project’s results can be attained in short-, medium-, and long-term stages. In the near term, which is one to two years, the project might have introduced blockchain courses, produced up to 5,000 jobs, and even contributed $500 million to the local economy.

The result would be the construction of important infrastructure and technologies, an increase to over 20,000 highly trained jobs, and an annual contribution of $2 billion to the local and national economy in the medium term, which is three to five years. Additionally, the project might have developed into a self-sustaining system that contributes more than $5 billion to the economy yearly, and in the long run—which is anticipated to take five years or longer—S.H.I.B. would be established as the global center for blockchain innovation.
